Finally able to get out for a bit of swing time with the son. We didn't have much time and went out to the old army base housing. A storm passed through today of course and when we left our house, all the snow had but melted. But, not in the place it needed to be. We arrived at out spot and found it to be covered with three inches of new snow at 6:30 PM. That of course didn't stop my son from kicking my butt tonight. He ended up with a nice little lot of wheats, a 36-D Merc, 50-S Washington, 43-S war nickel and a cool 1943 New Zealand Penny. A few pieces of old costume jewelry as well. I on the other hand was skunked with less wheats than normal but did manage a 1919-S Buffalo. We left just after midnight cause the "old man" was getting cold!!!!:laughing7:

Hoping to get back out Wed night and grid search the lots to really pick out all that is there.........hopefully the snow has melted off!!!:BangHead:

Thanks and we'll be back...........

That piece of jewelry is still cool looking.

Nice finds, what is the tag? I thought the date was 1851 but it is 1951?
