Very likely my best find ever - c. 1866 blob-top soda water bottle. Thus far, no one has come forward to declare they have one or know of one, so that's pretty cool in my world!
Hard to tell, but if that's an iron pontil mark, then it should be a bit older than 1866. Todd von Mechow lists two, both from Ontario, but neither are pontiled, and are blown in a plate mold. Yours appears to be an unlisted, and earlier variant. Might want to send him pictures. Great find!

Hello Sandchip! It being a 3-pt. mold, my thinking is it was blown in a cup-mold - doesn't the base of an iron pontil bottle have a distinctive depression? One opinion was that it may have been blown at the Lancaster B.W.'s in upstate N. Y.
