I got back to my old honey hole just before dusk today for a little while. I worked a new area of it, going very slow in All Metal mode on my T2. After digging a few buttons I got a nice strong signal locked in on a dime reading, at 5 inches. Based on my experience at the site, I was pretty confident this would be something worthwhile, so I pinpointed the target and put down the detector so I could use my detector's camera mount to video me digging it.

A few minutes later I got a mid-range bouncing signal at around 7 inches, and was thrilled to see silver in the plug!

The half reale appears to be 1773, the copper is a KG I, my third this year.

Like to have an "old honey hole" like that.

Still looking for my first spanish silver. Beginning to think I may never get one.

Great bunch of old finds! Love the Copper and the Spanish Silver Is Awesome! Way to go! :icon_thumright:

Do you prefer the All Metal mode or another mode? I cant seem to find any old coins.

It probably has more to do with the sites you are working. Make sure you take time to research your sites!

FYI, I like All Metal here because there's a lot of tall grass and stubble so it's hard to keep the coil near the ground. I like hearing a threshold and the T2 only has it in All Metal.

Nice 1/2 real. There were two types (both .9027 fine silver). On the reverse, one variety shows R- Mo- M- F with the Mo, M and F upside down; the other variety has all the letters in the 'normal' mode. Coin should be about 18mm. But if a 1R, then 20 mm.
Don.......

Enjoyed your video, especially closeups of the coins emerging from earth! Congrats! Andi

Nice Old coins! Congrats on those goodies :occasion14:

I like the T2s performance,
but can't understand why only a single tone option in all metal,
and no threshold in discrimination.
Maybe that's how they kept the price down ???

sweet finds happy hunting

Thanks, Bev. It's a great site that has loads of stuff. I will create a video of all the finds from this site at some point in the future.
