Got out for a little bit this week, several different spots, one new field, found some great items.

The pewter knee buckle is intricate

Yes, that is a broken spur. No idea what the cross doohickey is, maybe a broken skeleton key top?

The coins are and 1883 and 1902 IHP, 1918 Merc, 1944 Washington, and my first Barber Half, a 1907. I have two Barber Halves, and three dimes, but the quarter has eluded me. I credit my Yoda find, the force is strong with this one.

Wow. Lots of good finds there! Is your " cross thing " a finial of some sort? Beautiful little buckle.:icon_thumright:

Nice buckle. What does the back look like?

Great finds PA Sleuth! I really like that knee buckle and it has a really great design on it. Too bad that spur isn't complete. I've been dying to dig one of those, but bits and pieces just turn up.

LOOK OUT SLEUTH IS ON THE LOOSE . NICE FINDS.

That Knee buckle is a killer find!!! So much better then some stinking Barber quarter. Lol

Love that knee buckle...congrats on your first barber quarter.

You got a mess of silver mixed in with all the other cool finds.. Good job

It definitely could be, but off of what do you think?

Awesome finds! love the knee buckle

Great looking buckle!

Very cool bunch of finds!

Not very common for the buckle (which is very nice, by the way) to be made of pewter. It looks like a mix close to tombac.

Awesome knee buckle. Great recovery on that piece! What a beauty!!!

I was thinking the same thing, but it rang up very low, lower than a nickel, slightly higher than foil, could just be the shape that threw off the detector as well

I have had large tombac buttons come in at the nickel range.

Awesome digs, 6 keeper coins and cool relics. Clean Yoda up, may make a nice avatar.

Great breadth of quality finds your made there. And I can't think of a more powerful good luck charm than a dug Yoda. I love it when the universe takes a break from all the awful and shows us it still has a sense of humor.
