A rather odd find in the same roll of CWR of cents

I found a "blob" S 1974.......I knew there were some type 1 and 2 styles of the S mint mark coins so I set it aside to look up later.

Only a couple coins later I found a 1979S "blob" or type 1

Nothing of real value here the 1979S might be worth a 1.00$ in it's condition but rather odd to find one of each only a couple coins apart in the same roll.

In most instances the "blob" isn't a specific variety, but just a case of the mint mark being filled. I find this a lot on the 74s.
