a ring is a ring

A very short hunt this afternoon netted me another ring. It has been sort of "rainy" off and on so we didn't go out until this afternoon and even then only for about an hour and a half. There were kids in the water but not many adults. Still I managed to find one ring. The stones really sparkled but the rest of it was totally black. I thought maybe it might be silver but after I got home and cleaned it up... no such luck. Actually it has a copper sheen to it and there is a marking inside but I can't make it out. I am sure that it is nothing I've ever seen before though. So a junk ring is better than no ring. EmeraldEyes didn't do too well either. Just a little change. Maybe we will do better tomorrow.

OK I tried the best I could but I don't think it still is good enough to make out. Here is what I got....

Mumzie, Just because it is discolored does not mean it is'nt silver.
I had a ring that was copper tinted in my goodies box. I had nothing to do one day and decided to polish the "copper" ring. Well it turned out to be .925. The marking was very small, I had missed it on the first go round.

I would bet that if it is marked, its worth something.

could be pl for platinum mumszie?......or pl for plated as well......either way, i'd have that ring checked out just because of the possible diamonds in it.

The possible diamonds look like they've been put in the ring like normal diamonds would. I would definitely get that ring checked out immediately just to see................Now............Go do it!
