A shot of this year's finds.

Since Park Pirate posted a shot of his finds from this year, I thought I would do the same since we hunt the same parks. He bested me in the silver category but I squeaked out a few more indian head cents and nickels than him. I ended up with 83 old nickels (2 shields, 23 V nickels, 46 Buffaloes, 12 silver war nickels. 55 indian head cents, 1 large cent, 1 nickel 3 cent piece (my favorite find of the year ), 7 Barber dimes, 7 mercury dimes, 1 seated liberty half dime, silver British 3 pence, 5 civil war tokens and one slave auction token. Also dug about 100 Wheaties and ended up with $122.00 in clad that I will turn into silver American eagles at a coin show next Sunday. All in all not a bad year. Possibility for a few more hunts this year if it warms up a little over the next few days. Hard to believe Park Pirate and I pulled that many indian head cents and old nickels out of that "hunted out Park" !

Those nickel 3 centers are a great find. What a season you had. You boys had some amazing totals. Great job

Impressive nickel stats!--I don't think I've ever found that many nickels in one season. Great job digging up the low conductors...I imagine gold will be in your near future!
