Hit a small park today, probably only about 2 acres in size. Its small size did not deter my Equinox 800 from sniffing out the 1944 Merc, Crucifix, and an Arcade/Game Room token. Items were washed off at the water pump before the photo op ! Glad the heat finally broke. It was a comfortable 70 degrees. Happy hunting to all.

Nice finds TrezureHunter. Thanks for sharing...

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: That cross looks really cool.

Very nice! 😁 I found an almost identical crucifix. Does yours have wording on the reverse?

Yes, it says "Sacred Heart Auto League" with a picture of a car, airplane and boat on reverse. It is to protect, while people are traveling.

St Christopher?

WTG!! Nicely done, congrats and HH

Congrats on the silver. Great day for sure.

Any day with a Merc is a good day, nice finds.

Nice finds my friend, congrats on the Merc, she looks to be in great shape for a 74 year old lady! :laughing7:
It amazes me that with all of the folks who now detect in the US that you can still find a park that hasn't seen a detector before.

I also found a crucifix at an c1870 one-room school site in 2012, it looks very similar to yours.
The one I found has a silver wash over brass with a psalm on the reverse
