A solid roll is always nice

After the crappy boxes of the last couple of weeks, it is nice to hit some good silver again. On a whim I decided to check a Chase branch across from the store I just went to. They had one roll of halves, and imagine my surprise when I get to the car to find a full roll of 1964 Kennedy's! It is the first silver I have found in the city in about 8 months (although the burbs have been a bit kinder to me).

Solid rolls are nice for sure! I've found several over the years. Stick with it and you should score some more. Persistence is the key to success with this hobby. Congrats!

LOL! Ask and you shall receive. FYI, the "90%" written on the wrapper was from me. There was no marking on the wrapper when I found it.

After rechecking, it looks like all Philly. No mint marks. But all very nice looking coins. It definitely was part of someone's collection for a long time. I had never seen that many silvers in that good of condition in one find.

I am amazed every day at how some people are so IGNORANT as to trade in over 7 ounces of PURE SILVER for face value at their bank! Thank you ignorant people for making this hobby such a TREAT for us. This hobby friggin' rules - and as long as there is a percentage of us who continue to live in IDIOT AMERICA (props to Green Day on that one), there will continue to be plenty of silver to go around!

If you don't know, the mintmark is by the talon, not on the front.
