A strange cashe

I hunted a site today that has given up old bottles relics and old coins in the past . While hunting along an old railroad bed at the base I got a high silver hit at about 5 3/4 " . First thing I dug was the cigarette case. Now I know what you are thinking , Was there any thing in it? Yes and in a million years I never thought I would find two 420 screens inside it. Marked Imperial Korea inside . After that reshot and got another read and out came the large plate (sterling silver ) pretty shot . I think it is beyond rescue . Compact above plate is broken but sterling and hevey there is no bottom to it. The rest of all the finds came from a nearby park. 1951 dime 7 "down. really small micro cars 3 wheats . And the small PR flag charm was a shocker. Will be hitting this area again . maybe the next thing stashed will be a bunch of coins HH Rob. P.S. This area was near where I found my seated 1876 quarter this spring.

yeah what he said . That is what made it strange. Emperial Korea according to wikipedea. circ 1910 to 1945 so the case is old . so it must have been found or cashed not to long ago . I mean what are two pot screens doing in a cigarette case that dates back to as far as 1910 :dontknow:

But the other sterling Is that old also . my guess is someone found this stuff and recashed it . Mabey after smoking a bowl . Ganja makes people do funny things .
