I bought the 2011 Vicksburg a while back. I eventually traded it in for a gold coin. I really did like the coin because it was so big and shiny, lol. They are really only worth it though if you want them as a collector's item, not for its silver, imho. Also, I worry that these coins are becoming less popular and that their premiums over melt will only get much lower as the years go by so keep that in mind if you plan to sell it later.

i bought the hot springs one when it first came out, this one with the "P" mintmark on it, the more valueable one from my knowlege. I don't like the design, but got it anyway since orders were already selling on feebay or $500 at the time, and the coin was only $204 from the mint, or something like that. HH

Anyone buying/bought the America the beautiful 5oz silver coin. I think its like 205 dollars or so.

I've bought every one to date with the P mintmark (collector's version). I intend to complete the collection. The collector's version has had some tiny mintages. As the series progresses these mintages have dropped further. They have some truly beautiful designs.

My biggest gripe with the series is that 5 Toz is alot of silver per coin increasing the costs to complete the collection. The Mint could have settled on the ASE planchet; reducing their costs (additional equipment wouldn't have been necessary) and the costs to the collector. Ideally, a 3 Toz planchet would have been beautiful to capture the essence of the new design along with providing the collector with a hefty coin.
