A Tennessee Homecoming

Yesterday I drove 200 miles and back to watch one of the last games of the Philip Fulmer era. He's been the coach at Tennessee for 18 years.....it was a long drive back.

But, it was Homecoming and I thought I'd share a few pics.

The eatin' wasn't too bad:



This year they had the "Tennessee Pipers" perform at halftime and they joined the Band marching to the stadium:



Here's the Band "Saluting The Hill" before entering the stadium:



Every year at Homecoming a Tennessee Walking Horse circles the field before the game. This year it was "Santanas El Nino", the 2008 Tennessee Walking Horse Grand Champion.



If you look at the clouds to the right of the scoreboard you can barely see to F-18As performing a "flyover":



Then at Halftime all the bands performed; the Tennessee Pipers, The Alumni Band, and The Pride of the Southland Band:



Finally, the Pipers marched out and all 3 bands did a rendition of Amazing Grace that sent chills up your spine.



BTW...since I'm not a Wyoming Cowboy fan, there's no pics of the game. Sorry!
