Josh and I returned to our latest site that has been good to the two of us recently. I got a faint signal bouncing around the mid 40's in the vicinity of where the other two H.M.A.'s were recovered, lo and behold, a third
I decided to leave this one with most of the dirt caked on and H.M.A. visible for display. One of the replies to the last thread from a former local hunter stated that he had heard of 8 H.M.A.'s being dug (including our 2). I think it's safe to say an entire coat was discarded in this area so there should be a couple more nearby. Also came away with my best seated dime to date (1877).
Side note- after closer inspection, the buttons are two different variations. The one from yesterday has a slanted left side on the building and thinner letters. For a better view, check out this link and you will see the differences.
