Hello. My name is DigginThePast and I too have worn steel toed boots while detecting.

Yes i did the same thing 20 years ago,though it was funny it beeped every time i took a step.
Told my buddy and he walked over to me and his detector picked up my steel toed boots too.
Took us both to find out what was going on !!!
