Cold here today. Slipped hand warmers into my gloves and found that my pin pointer was following my palms around the plug as I was tearing it to shreds to locate the target. Once I realized my stupidity I located the real target , a nice flat button with a backmark I'm not familiar with. The "Best Gold Colour" I believe indicates English origin but that legend is topped by an eagle with what appears to be a crest on it's breast.
If any button experts want to chime in, I'd appreciate it.

Very nice find. I am thinking war of 1812 era. Made in England.
