Hit the farm again briefly today (big suprise, huh), and found what I feel is one of my coolest finds so far. It is a small toy soldier (medic) and is in GREAT shape with all the body parts this time, no cracks, and original paint. This thing is so cool.
The only print I find on it is "Made in USA". (Boy is that rare today)
Can anyone ID this toy? Age? Company?

Also found:
*A pocketknife,
*A 1942 Wheat,
*Tootsietoy pieces,
*An old round decorative button looking thingy. CW era? Any idea what this is?

It was a very short hunt, but still a productive one.
Thanks for looking,
MM

Nice find! You don't see too many die cast toys posted here. And he's in great shape too!!

Nice find....and something you dont see on toys anymore, let alone anything else "MADE IN AMERICA"...... :'(

Nice finds!!!! 10 bucks for lead....What a deal! Or is it the history they are buying ;)

With the price of pre 1940 low emission lead as it is, It might be worth more as lead than history? I hope not though, I like the history. Bongo

:o That toy soldier is truly incredible!! :o

And in what outstanding condition! :o

I see that someone was already to identify which is great. . but I have a silly question. . I noted his "medical cross" was blue? I always assumed ( I know I know, one should never assume! ) they were red. . were they? or does this tell you the branch? I also noted he has more of a cap rather then helmet. . does that mean anything? Just silly curious questions that run through my mind ::)

I had to laugh at the condition (eg: head missing, limbs gone ) of the other soldiers you have found ;D

Congrats on such a great find!! ;D

Bogart :D

Nice finds MM! I found one of those type soldiers in the US, think he is laying down in the prone position shooting a gun, one of my few US finds. HH, Mike
