Morning,
While digging in one of my village sites, I came across this tiny little pipe. In life it would have had a clay stem protruding from both sides of the bowl about 1.5- 2". Farming and time has taken its toll and all that was left was the bowl and a tiny piece of the original stem. Still though finding something this fragile in ground that was farmed for years is a miracle.
Seeing tobacco use.....or at least smoking just shows us that our Indian ancestors weren't so different as we are. Gives a whole new meaning to the Marlboro man...lol.
