I’ve been searching a harvested soy bean field, I found a small bronze age bar here or bronze age money and many other nice relics on this field. Found this interesting piece this evening, it is 2.25” or 58MM long. I don’t know what it is but I have one, LOL. Any help? HH, Mike

Looks like something was hinged on the one end, like a pocket knife frame.

It is a scabbard type tip for a knife sheath dating to the 1100's to 1200's AD. You guys were close. Thanks and HH, Mike
