I finished off the good area of the field today in about an hour! Got a nice buckle and a few buttons. Then i had
to try and find another good bit in a huge field ???

After a bit of wandering around aimlessly i started finding buttons again so stuck to that area!

I was very relieved to pull out a hammered after a couple of hours!

Also got a completely blank coin with a counterstamp :icon_scratch:

How's this SS?
There's no sceptre so I will pluck for William1(the lion) 1116-1214

I'm not sure, but now that I have the book, there are a few more types which you can't find on the web. The head right looks similar to Alex III, but I'm not confident at all. This one definately needs to be in the hand to make out the reminants of letters etc.. Could easily be William I, just not quite enough to tell.

Maybe Shaun can bring it next time he visits. (If he doesn't loose it. :D )

The fat thing to the right!

you have just upset my missus....
