ABE gets no respect!

[ModernMiner]

O.K. it's not silver or a diamond ring. Just an interesting find, I thought.
I dug this up and at first thought it was a bent button. Then I thought it was a coin hit by a mower. It turns out someone shot poor Abe in the back this time. It's a 1935 Wheat that someone decided to pump full of lead. It didn't quite make it though, so Abe looks like he's giving birth.
Enjoy.

Sooooo, that is where it ended up...down in NC. I knew it went somewhere far away.

I don't think you ever will find another one like it!
It a one of a kind!

[piggman1]

That is a really cool find! I've lost many a coin doing the same thing....are you sure that isn't mine? Way to go buddy!

[tymcmurray]

So, I was just wondering what it came up as on the VDI?
That coin would be a proud find in anybodies' book.
By the way. Lincoln was shot in the back of the head
the first time. Right?

Kirk,
If this wheat were yours, I would have found it in the stream.
A floating Lincoln?
