Ace 250 or ??

The wifey gave me the go-ahead to upgrade from the BH Tracker IV. I've been eyeing the Ace 250. I'm in Nebraska...so no beaches. It'll be primarily parks, playgrounds, fields, and the occasional lawn.

I can get the Ace 250 on ebay for $212. Anything else that's comparably priced that might be better?

The Ace 250 is the good detector to get right now as it has the features that are nice at a good price. However I would not advise buying from ebay unless it is a dealer. You never know what you are getting and have no where to take it back if it isn't as advertised.

I suggest you first check with Tony here at tcmetaldetectors.com Tony has helped many and his prices are fair. You will get a new detector this way and know you have someone to call if you ever need help.

I agree with the Sandman, contact a dealer, as you may have questions about the detector or the hobby in general. The dealer will help you in many waysduring and after the sale. Tony and Dallas are two good dealers that support this site and are very helpfull.

Cool. I haven't ordered it yet...but when I do, I believe I'll go through them, or kellyco.

They look like they're the same price, with free shipping, so that beats ebay on shipping alone. Not to mention if I have problems with it at all.

I'd say get the 250.........it's a good machine and alot of detector for the money. I'd go with someone recommended on this site. Kellyco will charge you more dollars for free useless crap. Whatever digger they send you will break in a matter of minutes, and the pouch sucks.

The BH I bought included a "digging tool" that lasted 1 hunt. I now have a lesche digger.

Buy the Ace250. It will do you good.
