Act of Civil War: Sheriff stands up to BLM agents

The Unites States of America was founded as a Republic.

A republic is a form of government in which the people, or some significant portion of them, retain supreme control over the government.

That means 'we the people' are in control of our country. The elected officials are put into office by us and are bound to govern the country by the Constitution and the rule of law.

Unfortunately, many of our rules have been ignored or circumvented by elected officials and it is catching up with them. We the people are fed up.

Nuff said.

AMEN.

I too am with you Ray.

Possum, I did not see Harley's post, but I am sure he did not mean all scouts. I do know his character and he had to be basing his comment on something. When he gets back from active duty, I am sure he will clarify his statement. :icon_scratch:

GrayCloud: Brother GrayCloud, we need to do as you said and get the other members rounded up together and get the ball rolling, if you'd like.
====================================================
Hello again, Brother WP members , consider me rounded up. Good to see all are still here.

I like Tell Sackett too, but don't forget Orrin the quiet man, but as they would say 'just as handy'.
Then there was Barnabus, more good tales. Well, gotta light a' shuck. Be well , my friends.

the problem with this thread is, they don't say where this took place. however, here is what I found out.
there are 3 kinds of federal land with separate jurisdiction

1. proprietary jurisdiction. basically privately owned federal land, where local and state leo's enforce laws
2. concurrent jurisdiction. state, local or federal leo's enforce and prosecute
3. exclusive jurisdiction. only federal leo's enforce laws. local and state leo's can only serve summons and subpoenas
the federal government has sole authority to enforce any and all laws on federal land, regardless of where it's located or who the sheriff is.
if the crime committed crosses federal land or state lines it is the jurisdiction of federal leo's.
there is a subsection of the proprietary jurisdiction that also states, if an adjoining landowner to federal land allows action on his property that causes destruction or harm to federal land or property, it is a federal matter and will be prosecuted in federal court
So, where exactly did this happen?

Apparently, a lot of people dont have a clue about how BLM land is handled!!!!!!!

Ranchers lease BLM land, people............ They are told how many cows they can run on it, by some joker who wouldn't know a cow from a mule!

Once they have the lease, people can still go there. Please close the gates!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scary the number of socialist ideas people seem to have!

So, if the cattle werent there, who would keep it from burning....... We have a lot of fires going in Texas, and I would not like for that to happen on BLM land. BTW, your generous prez wont allow FEMA to help here. Only working people dont get help. We need bureaucrats for that!!!!!!!!!!

olroy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Olroy just made a whole passel of good sense.

Tubecity, Sure am glad to see you haven't gone under. We a gonna need you if this thing turns even badder than it is now. If the muslim steals it, we are on our on. :icon_scratch:

This is the major side effect of closing down the political boxing ring.

well, WH, it is just the pc thing to do. We must all get along, and follow!!!!!

I guess Roy, all I can say is I will miss the learning from debates and it was much more mellow than a couple of years ago.

I'm sure Marc had good reasons in shutting it down but as said it will be missed by me and many others.

.......

So.....all of this started happening about 20 years ago?

Hum...ya'd think most folks would be interested in current events :dontknow: :dontknow:

When it started isn't important in this discussion, only that it is continuing TODAY. So, guess that kinda makes it CURRENT EVENTS. What do you think?

Well...what I think is a bunch of people are jumping up on a soapbox without actually researching what they've read.

Amazing how Youtube and the media can drag folks around by their nose :laughing7: :laughing7:

Ah. So, enlighten us please.

I stopped reading when I saw that Alex Jones and infowars was a part of the conversation.

You asked "what do you think?" and I replied with what I thought.

Enlighten you? :icon_scratch:
Expand upon your statement. It was kinda vague and ambiguous.

Something like presenting facts instead of just trying to stir the pot.

Come on, you must have done some research to come to that conclusion! Share your wisdom. :notworthy:

Yup. I read part of the first post. Saw the term "infowars". Stopped reading and then proceeded to post about how I stopped reading anything associated with Alex Jones. Don't see how that would be so hard to grasp - that is, unless you are the type that actually takes Alex Jones seriously.

Not hard to grasp at all Hombre, but it seems you would've read the posts that other folks made before posting your own.

As for Alex Jones and "infowars", all I know about them is what little I've read on T-Net, so if your last line was directed

at me in an attempt to be snide, you've missed the mark.

Not trying to be snide, and you have my apologies if I came across that way, it's just that Alex Jones is a fear peddler of the worst regard. He spews a bunch of nonsensical paranoia so he can sell books and DVD's for a hefty profit. Recently he "investigated" an alleged plot by FEMA to build "concentration camps" and used footage from a coffin liner factory here in Georgia to try and back up his phony claims. Here are just a few of my favorite quotes from the bastion of knowledge that is Alex Jones:

"This is only the beginning. In the next few years, in this second phase--the period of escalating violence. They're gonna allow limited nuclear exchanges." "There's going to be more. This is only the kickoff." (9/13/01)

"Within 2 years I'm predicting...that you're going to see a suitcase nuke in this country. You're probably going to see a release in a few years of something communicable. & I am predicting that you will see a lot of conventional bombings...in the next year or so." (10/18/01)

"I'm telling you now...there's a very good chance there gonna blow something up overseas or here." "The evidence is all tilting toward...blowing up a building. They're really setting us up for a smallpox attack." Chemical attacks are "almost a guarantee in the next six months or so." (9/26/02)

"They're preparing for new terrorist attacks that are much larger. & they're planning to bring in foreign armies....The U.S. government is going to engage in large terrorist attacks domestically & probably internationally...They may kill millions of Americans." There was going to be a nuclear release in Iraq, an international depression, formation of a world government, probably a nuclear release in Iraq, an international depression, a world government formed. Also, "They may kill millions of Americans." (7/11/02)

They're going to blow more stuff up.
(4/13/04)

"I predict Arnold is gonna save children at a school shooting, or there'll be some type of bombing, & he will land by helicopter & run in & direct things. I predict it....I see it all aligning. I see it all coming together. I see their plan, clear as day....He'll fly in & things will be burninig & he'll run into it & save someone."

Alex also said (several times) they were going to roll out Osama bin Laden "on ice" before the 2004 election.

Alex said they were going to blow up Washington DC before the election.

Alex said Saddam Hussein had been taken to Cuba.

The man caters to the tinfoil hat-wearing demographic that believes in the "New World Order".

Sorry to disappoint anyone here that may hold this point of view, but there is no N.W.O. In fact, it's actually a very "Old World Order". It's been going on for a very long time. Rich people tell poor people what to do - from the caveman with the biggest pile of rocks on down to the Teapot Dome and Bill Gates. Nothing new about that phenomenon.

No problem, friend. I just took it wrong, and I apologize for that.

I can see where you are coming from Hombre, and I appreciate your reply post, it helps to be able to see someone elses point of view. :icon_thumleft:

I may know where the coffin factory you mentioned is located, if it's in northeast Georgia.

It's not very far from where I live and I use to make some daily trips through there several years ago.

I look forward to talking with you again, Hombre.

P.S. Cool avatar! :icon_thumleft:

Again, I apologize for coming across like that. I just really hate Alex Jones, and I have a personal reason for doing so.

Shortly after 9/11, a close friend of mine began listening to that guy. I suppose my friend had some sort of underlying mental disorder that had gone unnoticed and undiagnosed, but I think Alex Jones really drove him over the edge. Before he was a hard working, successful, restauranteur - but after a couple of years of running with the "Black Helicopter Crowd" and listening to Jones he was digging foxholes, canning food, and hoarding ammunition. It got so bad it eventually began to take a toll on the time he spent at his business. He ended up bankrupting his restaurant. Lost his house, wife, and kids. He has nothing now - but hey, at least he's ready in case the poop hits the fan...
