"KNOW a county Sheriff here in Texas"
Good go ask him what his education is.
Thats RIGHT! And he stands for the Constitution AND THE PEOPLE!!
I don't need to ask what his education is but I can certainly guess what yours is, "A Lost cause"! You STILL HAVEN'T PROVED ME WRONG!
Evidently if you HAD an ed u ma ca tion you might POST some FACTS PROVING ME WRONG, but then again maybe you don't know WHERE to look for the facts that don't exist!
Can someone here help him out?
I asked you to prove what you said and you cant. Plain and simple, You redirect me to prove you wrong when it is you that say you are right. Simple diversion tactic, due to you can not.
The local law enforcement, elected or not; is constrained with in the laws of the state and county, or municipality they are in.
Fun and very old game on boards.. I can quote from the constitution to show were the "Feds" have the power and right.
Pull up the authority of your Sheriff by the state, county and municipality and learn.
Stop being sheep.

As for types of government, always an interesting argument due to the bias of the people involved, it can get amusing trying to define one over the other.
As for the US today we supposedly have the Democrats and the Republican idea.
Of course the ideas that was used to construct the Constitution was Federalist. That group does not exist today as a power in our government.
Yet today the government officials are financed by those with the money. Namely industry.
So who ends up with the power, and control over them that are elected??
So who does have the authority to enforce the laws and rules of the US government??
Shall we go back to letting the US military enforce them, as was in the constitution at one time??
It did not go over to well way back when the military was used to remove squatters from government land.
You folks say the "Feds: have to much power. Yet it is the people you elect that can make changes to the constitution by amendments etc, and they have, right or wrong.
People should remember we are not really a democratic society.
The few make the rules the rest have to live by. Should we just ignore the one we do not agree with??
Or should we as Americans group together and vote in people that can change the situation?
So far the last part does not seem to be doing so well. All in time it seems.
This type of statement is all to familiar this day an age. "lets just start up a new civil war, it certainly is needed."
They laughed but I was dead serious."
Were as in most cases said as a joke, is it??
Even statements by the Sheriff are a symptom of today: divide among the people in the US.
But what is actually causing the divide
High gas prices??
Companies so large they can blackmail the world into bailing them out if they go broke??
Industry and companies manipulating them in power for laws and rules; for there own gain over the rights of states and people??
Because them oil companies can go out and drill were ever they want at the moment??
Because you cant take your ORV any were you want no mater what the consequence may be??
Because you cant metal detect were you want no mater what??
Because you can dredge were ever you want??
Because you can not hydrolic preasure mine where ever you want??
The inability to get way from people for a time??
Because you can do what you want, anytime you want??
What??
What is really behind the discontent??
