Got one for the day. This field was rough, with a lot of corn stubble on it.
It was disced up last week, maybe 1/2” of rain on it.
Picked up a adena narrow blade, a couple of tips, and a handful of chips.
I have found 2others similar to this one in this field, over the years. 8C6E87F4-E7BC-473B-B5B2-BC9405093C7E.jpeg 921CC9AE-7B28-4420-AA3F-EF66A3C5CE17.jpeg 9DA1EAC2-056A-4CAE-B3CC-1E81347D1257.jpeg A023EE08-3E61-423A-91A6-FA3EE102C302.jpeg 56D04DF5-C912-4987-80C2-C25F6D191DEE.jpeg 2BE24570-37F8-462B-9174-307EC8F65D01.jpeg B2EEF482-A63B-402F-9243-0F4D53CECEB8.jpeg 6620EEF1-193A-49CF-9824-54D4CFAD68AD.jpeg

You ain't kidding about narrow, if the 2nd pic (on left) wasn't included that could pass off for a beast. Excellent find and excellent material.

Edgework to be admired,..Sequential flaking....beautiful creek, are there any caves along that hillside..
never walked up that particular hillside, likely caves though. There are many caves and burial mounds in this part of the state. More fields up on the ridge top.the locals call this valley “ rattlesnake valley” I’ll take the truck rather than walk it...lol

That is a sweet point with great workmanship on the edges. You are finding some really nice Adena's. If you get a chance post them all together we would like to see them. Nice pics of the terrain, it puts everything in context. Great looking spot to search.
