Leaves are Dropping

I had planned on walking the whole creek today cause lots was showing. I saw some footprints that were fresh from the last 2 days. I guess they were looking for color. I hunt by shape which means lots of bending and plenty of lookalikes. If I hunted by color only I wouldn’t find a single thing. Most everything is coated with a layer of creek slime or mud. This is what I found after picking them up and rinsing them off. I also found a cool bottle that’s embossed. Not sure on the year of it it’s my 1st one like it I’ve found. Any information would be great. Half way up the creek I got a call and had to turn around. I found a triangle that looks to have broken during chipping. A blade and a reduction pice that I would consider a preform.

Neat bottle. That one was made at the Maryland glass works between the late 1930's to the late 1950's.

The bottle is cool and in great condition too.

I find those cobalt blue bottles on occasion. Think all mine were screw tops to. No corkers. Leaves coming down will slow your hunts for sure.

I was really looking to walk the whole creek cause the water was so low. The phone call ruined my trip so I just went home.
