Yeap, I've had a variant of that medallion, pretty cool example of an early souvenir. Believe it or not yours looks in above average condition for a dug example, the metals in these are fairly low quality.

I like the Admiral Vernon medallion. I dug a similar button here stateside last summer. I didn't know what it was but someone helped id it for me. Here is the thread:

Admiral Vernon buttons are found on this side of the pond also,he was quite popular in his day.Most old colonial towns have a Vernon St. I don't know if this true but Mount Vernon may have been named after him.
