Adventures At The Lake

Went to the lake for a couple of days. Had a great time, but not much time to hunt. I just don't understand how there is never enough time in the day anymore. I did manage to find a few modern coins and a cheap earring yesterday morning. Then went boating and swimming mid-morning. Hubby had been fishing there a couple of weeks ago and discovered an awesome site that I would LOVE to hunt! But...no trespassing signs posted. It is on an island and the water was down so we anchored just off shore and swam in for a look-see. Being that the water was so low we had plenty of area to stroll around before getting to the signs. Found this really weird rock. Anybody know what it is? There are goats on the island but didn't see them till we went back for fishing last night. The pics aren't that great being that it was dark but thought they were neat. Have a great weekend!

Heart attack. Right there Flea! And yes, the water was very low. It has been rather dry here this year.

Sherm....Nana was a good girl. Didn't go beyond the signs.

And as for the rock......Talked to Omni last night and he said about the same as you Maria.... thinking it's geode. Just thought it was neat, so had to bring it home.
