After two months of detecting, as I am new to the hobby, these are the items in my treasure box...lol
The little silver Horse pin at the bottom, with the leg broke, I'm pretty sure? is silver plated, due to the weight of the item, & it shined like that when dug from 4" down.
The gold colored locket ( upper right ) I think is just somekind of brass. It is too light & thin for gold, I think? although, it was dug at 6" to 7" & cleaned right up. I 'm not sure if any type of brass, or other metals would stay in such good shape. You would think if it were anything but Gold, it would have some sort of corrosion on it. I am thinking about hanging the "NOBODY DOES IT BETTER" pendant & the "1867 IH" on my tool belt for luck...The 1867 IH is the oldest coin I have found so-far, too bad it has a hole punched threw it
I have also found? 19 other Wheaties & about $25 in clad... I think I'm off to a good start.
