I was out there again today just before the afternoon's low tide. I could "smell" the Gold but I sure couldn't find it.

Lots of nails as I followed signals into the surf. Hit a strange coin that has the purple color but also some silvery color too. It's cleaning now. Then a big signal that sounded like a big piece of iron but had the sweetness of Silver. Easy scooping and there was this huge purple chain in my scoop! That color always gives me a big smile. :icon_sunny:

It's 22" long and weighs in at just over 60 grams...at today's Silver spot and minus ARA's 10% fee it's worth $66

I've also just found from today's finds this Silver coin commemorating Christopher Columbus's 500 years since 1492. I've also got it posted at What Is It as I'd like to know more info where it was made and silver content. It appears at least close to coin silver.
