I went back to my pit for a two hour dig. Got a couple bottles. I need help id'ing a couple. You guys will know Im a noob but what are these? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463530545.578225.webp.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463530561.350934.webp. You can see this one has a sheared top. This next one is a little different but same strange shape.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463530631.382309.webpburst lip?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463530648.647818.webp. Please tell me these are great bottles! There's another 3 or 4 I left at my pit (buried). I might get them. They are all a little different. On another note I found another Laxol. This one is more teal! Trial size.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463530846.329607.webp. I found an Amber Bixby too but after cleaning and drying it I noticed a nice bruise on it :(... Oh well was a decent dig if you ask me!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1463531069.158902.webp

Nice bottles you found! Not sure on the id. Good luck.

Those are different. They look like a mix between a drinking glass and a decanter. Maybe a Barber's bottle but not real sure.

They were all in around the same spot and there's 3 more I think I buried on my first dig that I'm going to probably go back and recover. They all have that thinner bottom.

Beautiful finds!

You have a nice bottle pit. I'd love to find those in the pics.

The first two bottles are part of a Castor/Caster Set, it would have 4-6 different bottles holding oil, vinegar and other items to add flavor to your meals, popular in the Victorian era.... Nice color on the Laxol's.

Thanks ePackage. The one with the sheared lip cracked somehow pretty badly! I don't know how that happened... I was wondering if there's any collectors value for an incomplete set without the holder/tops/or all the bottles? I thought maybe you would come through with the answer on what they were. Thanks again. And yeah the laxol popped out right at the end as I was caving the walls down a bit. Cherry on top!

Nevermind. I just checked eBay. Not a lot of value there but still kinda different.

Yep cool finds. Those Laxols are nice to find too. Good color. Keep at it, you have some serious potential there. jgas
