I picked up $100 in dimes and $60 in halves from one bank
$25 in dimes from another bank
And then a box of dimes from my CU-
So I started with the $125 in dimes and to my astonishment they were all brand new probably uncirculated shiny 2012 dimes
The halves where CRW and nothing, each roll was a different year- 71,72,73, 2rolls of the 1776-1976 then a 79 roll and then a misc 80-90 roll
So I dove into the box of dimes- and the 1st 10 rolls again all brand new shiny 2012s, started thinking maybe I should just stop and dump them, but then I saw an end coin that was dirty so I opened it and it was mixed of brand new shiny 2012 and older dimes- so thought ok this ones mixed so lets keep going. Half way through and majority where brand new rolls with very few older mixed in- got down to the last 10 rolls and were seeing more mixed coins and then I saw it a no doubt silver, pulled it out and a '45 merc- man am I glad I didn't go with my 1st thought and dump the box-
