So I just got my 5th brinks box and got 7 40% (somehow I've never been skunked on them)... So 7 40% is an ounce of ag right? Idk how to calculate it.

The following coins have this amount of pure silver (in troy ounces)...
Dime: 0.07234 oz (13.82 per oz of pure silver)
quarter: 0.18084 oz (5.53 per oz of pure silver)
90% half: 0.36169 oz (2.76 per oz of pure silver)
40% half: 0.1479 oz (6.76 per oz of pure silver)
silver dollar (1878-1935): 0.77344 oz (1.29 per oz of pure silver)

Just to give you a general idea on what US silver coins contain, I hope this helps.
