:fish: Ahoy All,
We are just getting back into traveling and treasure hunting aboard our newly acquired boat after a long health issue. We just found your site and thought we might keep in touch as we travel. We will keep in touch with anyone who wants us to as we travel and treasure hunt the thousands of coastal miles, the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize and the Gulf of Mexico.
I'll load some pictures when I figure out how to setup a site for the boat and us. Watch White Feather and her crew as we travel some of the places you read about.
We have traveled and hunted for quite a few years. The last adventure lasted about ten years. Now we have a bigger boat. Much bigger. 57 feet with a catamaran hull. It's time for to play!
What can I say? No more work, only play, dive, snorkel, grill, play guitar, swim, fish and enjoy everything. I'll set up a website as soon as I figure out the particulars. It's hard to teach an old dog like me these new ways of the internet but I'm trying. Bear with us as we learn. I'll send pictures and updates as we travel if you want. Just write or respond here.

Best, hope all goes well.

"White Feather", strange name your using.
You do know that pure-breed gamecocks
don't show white feathers?

And old Harry Faversham, but that is another
story.

As I said, hope all goes well.

have a good un........................

:icon_pirat: The name, "White Feather" was the name she (our boat) was given 40 years ago. We decided not to anger King Neptune or any of the other Sea Gods by changing her name. Besides, she is very well known by her given name and was even featured in Playboy many years ago.
We intend to travel and hunt treasure and maybe even take a few friends on some hunts and travels from time to time. I have lots of true treasureship locations of wrecks I have dove in the last 35 or so years. MD has been a passion for many years. I am still using the MD that I bought in 1988 although it has been back to White's for upgrading and repairs a few times. It still works deeper than I dive now days.
We will definately get a site going soon and post lots of pictures.
Nice meeting you all here with the same passions I have had for so many years. I have dove from Bonaire to the Chesapeake Bay to Belize, Mexico and all over Florida and many other areas.
Who knows, we may decide to take passengers some day. She's a big boat with lots of room. Lots of room for toys.... Dive gear, fishing gear, MD's, grills for cooking fish and lobsters caught for dinner and lots of deck space for lazing about.
Thanks,
Russ & Sherene

SWEET! Y'all are living the life! That really sounds like fun. Please do keep us all posted.
I have a cousin that her son is a weather junkie and reports on what kind of weather you
are having would even be cool. And what kind of food, they have so much more fruit
south of the border than they have up in the US. My nephew goes to Belieze about once
a year or so and he said his father-in-law has like 25 fruit trees in his yard with stuff that
he didn't even know the name of in english. He took a something like a ferry from Florida
(car and all) over there. Didn't cost him much and he said it was like a cruise ship with the
food and stuff to do on board.
I'm babbling, please have fun, be safe, and keep us posted! (I'm just getting over the flu
and mister brain ain't what ya' call "fully engaged" yet)

HH,

What a fantastic lifestyle! Let us know where you are and we want to hear lots of adventures!

:icon_pirat: It's a tough job but we'll make the sacrifice! :coffee2: Okay, I came up with the idea of a Cruising Treasure Club. We have the boat. 57 feet of boat. Let's hear some ideas. Anyone interested in starting a Cruising Treasure Hunting Club? We are ready to cruise the coast from Canada to Belize and every river, creek and water access in between. North in the summer and south in the winter. We have 3 staterooms and I can add one or two more without crowding the boat. I am also going to add one more bathroom with shower. We have two bathrooms now and one even has a tub. We would have to add some equipment like a watermaker, and possibly a chest type freezer to carry more food for more people. That sort of stuff. It's a thought.
We could have members meet us wherever they want to board and cruise wherever we are for that week or two. Lots of possibilities here. We would have to work out some kind of value to cost arrangements. What do you think? I have been sailing and powerboating for about 45 years without incident other than a few groundings along the intracoastal and Chesapeake. All minor as we always got away under our own power.
Drop an idea or two. I'll be watching here or email us with any suggestions.

I am so jealous!!!!
Do you dive much off the coast of South Carolina? :)

:icon_pirat: SC diving is great although I have not gotten the chance to do as much as I'd like to. Went around Myrtle Beach and Charleston and a little bit up north along the Outer Banks. I like both the North and South Carolina areas, the Southern Chesapeake Bay, anywhere in Florida, Delaware, and especially the Keys. The Keys are very expensive and laws are aimed at not allowing treasure hunting. Of corse swimming and snorkeling are still not against the law. NOT YET!
We are in Panama City Beach today, Turkey Day, but will be heading down south for the cold days, known as winter, tomorrow. I don't like cold for any reason. It has gone down into the upper 40's here a few times already so we are heading south. In the spring we will head north to the Chesapeake Bay and over to the Indian River in Delaware. After a short visit there we will be heading off on the next trip. That should be by early fall. Before it gets cold. Burrrrrr!
Arghhh! Bring me a Grog, Wench! :coffee2:

Best wishes for a great Holiday Season no matter what your beliefs. We wish you all Health and Happiness and many years of Peace and Joy.!!!!

Err , ahh ? White feather, do you need a qualified tooth brush head cleaner? I have earned my Phd in this, sigh. A side military training benefit.

Are broads & booze included in my salary? Or do I have to bring my own?

:icon_pirat: Ahoy Y'All,
We have moved aboard. Our backyard view is awesome! The windchill here today was 80 with serious sunshine and peroids of total happiness scattered all around. Now I remember why I hate living on land! We are in North Fort Myers. The wife has not stopped looking out the windows since we got here. Day and night it is a great view. I'll add a few pictures here as soon as I resize them. Gotta run, the wife said it just got prettier... :coffee2: YUM!! Grog on Deck!

You are making me so jealous! our wind chill is about 10 today. Can't wait to get to Florida next month. would love to join the cruising someday.

Hmmmm!
I just spent the weekend moving snow, fixing my blower and tractor, and getting the old 4 wheel drive running again to get through the winter.

Gee, I wonder who is having more fun?

Best of luck to ya!

:icon_pirat:  Gosh, I almost forgot about that. I used to chop wood and drag it through the woods, cut it up again, fill the wood stove and read sailing and treasure hunting magazines. Nope! I don't miss it. If you like that sort of thing it is a great life but I don't want it to get so cold that clothing becomes a necessity out on anchor. If my woman has to hang clothes on her body to keep warm we are to far north nowdays. I used to love sitting in the woods hunting and kind of miss some of that when the fingers on your hand feel like they are on fire from the extreme cold when you get home. NOT! At least, not any more.
Nope, I'll hold down the fort at this end. Feel free to come down and sample the lifestyle we live before you run out of time. None of us are guaranteed even the rest of today much less tomorrow. If there is something you want to do....get on with it!
Gotta get another Grog! :coffee2: See Ya!
