Alabama Birdie's

Just found these about an hour ago on the Tennessee River. I just moved to Huntsville 3 months ago, been out for a handfull of hunts and have found a dozen or so brokes. I wasn't really hunting today. My wife & I took our dog Bubba out for a swim and I found these on the shore in a span of about 20 minutes or so.

I love the reds and greens on the second point. It's nice to find some points when you aren't out there for that reason. GL and HH. :headbang:

Of course!!! As a matter of fact, when it finally quit raining, I ran back down for about 20 or 30 minutes & found 2 broken bases and a tip

Glad to see you guys settled in. That Tennessee River is an awsome place and you will enjoy the southern hospitality . Looks like you first stop was a good one. I have found them around boat ramps. Enjoy Rocket City :hello:

Nice looking finds. You can't beat that for a short hunt.

Re: Alabama Birdie's

My old stomping grounds, I would collect out of Ditto Landing up to Flint River then back all the way down to the Lacey Springs sites. Your first points are from unheated Bangor chert and the reddish one has been heat treated. Buy yourself a boat and walk your dog a lot more. Stay off Wheeler Refuge and Redstone areas. They will ticket you . Hobbs Island will give up some nice stuff. Good luck and happy hunting.
