I found the most complete cap gun to date.
Stallion 250 cap gun.
At first pulled out half the gun. Both grips in tact.
No cap load cover and trigger.
Still in the hole the barrel. This was about 8 inches deep.
Rang up as a quarter would.
Late 50s early 60s.

You did good. The ones I usually dig need huge amounts of tic. Generally they are blobs of rust or too far gone to repair.
