Almost wrapped my Equinox 800 around a palm tree!

Ya'll know there's an off button on all of them...:laughing7:

If you're out alone DO NOT leave the phone in the car. Try turning it totally off. Falling in holes and things happen.

Turn off bluetooth on your phone.
Carry on the opposite side of your detector.
If that doesn't work try airplane mode.
I detect some iffy places, I like to have quick access to my phone.
Just in case I have to call an ambulance for someone who tried to rob me.

#airplanemode. One of my favorite parts of detecting, you CAN'T call or text me!

Or pull it behind you 20' in a little wagon.:laughing7:

I always leave mine in my car.
If there is an emergency there nothing you can do anyway because 90% of the time it’s in someone else’s hands anyway.

Iphone interference is what we have to pay for by having a detector that is just more sensitive and that is why we are hearing so many good finds on areas that have been hit hard.
Less sensivity = less finds.

I use mine for tracking site coverage and boundaries and to document finds in the field so it is a detecting tool for me and I keep it on. I never have an issue just keeping it in a pocket opposite of the side I swing the detector and I am fine.

I have increasingly encountered more problems with WiFi EMI than cell phone EMI.
