Always Keep a Sharp Eye Out for Silver......

I did a quick after work hunt last night before a storm showed up. I was hunting a soccer/ball field I've hunted many times. I found a nice 10K gold class ring there a few weeks back so I figured I'd try my luck again in the brief time I had before the rain came.

So I started poking around and on my third hit I got a nice high, loud hit around the 84 range. I figured it was maybe a quarter or deep aluminum can but when I dug the plug I saw this looking back at me.......




...a .925 eyeball earring with a .925 clasp. The thing rang up really loud. This is definitely one of the most unusual pieces I think I've ever come across. It's a little more silver so I'm happy with it.

I have a bunch of other finds from a few recent hunts I'm planning on posting soon but I just had to get this one up.
I'll keep a sharp eye out for the match to this one.
