26 views...0 replies? I realize some of you consider me your competition, but come on. I am in Broome County, upstate NY. Guess i will search the net for proper hunting methods. Thanks!

Hey man, welcome to this great hobby!! The pics you posted look like prime hunting spots. Be sure to pay extra attention to the creek banks and along the edges of the creek...that is where you might find newly deposited artifacts that recently washed out. Good luck and HH!!

Looking at your pictures, I'd say yes, that looks like it could be a good place to hunt. Good luck.

That drain looks like it should have something. Now I'm just saying this because where I live but I would look for a deeper cut drain or creek. The deeper the cut the more chance something will have washed out in it, which means it is an older run off most of the time. You should find some kind of sign, like pottery or chipped stone. You have the right idea of where to look it just takes time in the field. Good luck, HH and keep us posted:occasion14:

i will say to try to do some dry washing out there, without been there we can't really tell but it looks interesting

Got some nice cobbles in that creek bed. Not all creeks has artifacts but I would look at it if I was you.

Thanks guys!

Put the shovel to the ground. If you think something is missing!

I'd dang sure look it. Good luck.

looks better then any creek to walk around here,I would give it hell for sure!gl
