"AN HOUR BEFORE THE MONSOON"

It's been raining here for the last three days pretty steady with some breaks while the water level goes down. I had just one hour this morning while the skies rumbled. So I went to the neighborhood park/pool to dig some. Got 58 cents a nice costume jewelry broach from under the swings and my share of trash. Thanks for lookin....Stay safe....

Hi Rudy!
Nice little broach, very cool.
and you cleaned up the hazardous items from the public area.
Hope you can get out soon. At least the ground will be moist for a while!

Smiles!

Cameo, sweeeeeeet.
Some of those things can be expensive.
I don't know jewelry, so I couldn't help you there.
Very nice piece.

Again, wish I could've been there. :'(

Ima

P.S. How far down was it?

Great finds. That brooch is a keeper, costume or not.

Re: "AN HOUR BEFORE THE MONSOON"

i do like the broach. I know what you are talking about it rained all weekend on us also. We took our camper out to lake corpus christi and I had visions of racking in the goodies detecting while the family played in the water. What little sun we had (couple of hours) I spent with the kids in the water and here comes the rain again. Of course that was until today when we were leaving, the the sun shines bright once again. I only took the detector out for less than an hour the whole weekend :'( :'( and found the usual pull tabs and clad. But it still turned out to be great family time and thats what counts.
