let you know, I am wondering about the word above jesus, and the meaning of the sympols.
Fantastic crucifix! It appears to be an Irish Penal Crucifix. From what info I could find these were originally produced between 1695-1823. I have not found an example as nicely detailed as this one though. There are modern made examples but I have no doubt yours is from the right time period. Great find!
