Nice to meet you nappy and welcome to the forum. Nice looking rock if I say so myself. But that would run under zoomorphic type of rock art. Thanks, rock

Not saying you dont have any in that pile but there isnt any thing wrong with collecting rocks. That big one in the last pic looks different. Maybe post a pic of that one by itself.

possibly some chunks of hematite in that small container. None of them jump out at me as obvious tools. The tooth looks like bison or cow.

When in doubt, bring it home, study all the threads here, thats my best advise,if it turns out to be just a rock, landscape

I see it jamey. Yeah all the thinner ones on the right and any that seem to round to be natural. You started it now lets see them.

Okay wil post in few hours working now

Sorry, but I only see one piece on that table that MIGHT be an artifact and that is the shiny piece on the right hand side about half way up the picture. That may be a Celt, but without a better picture to see if it has a blade it's hard to say.

The first rock was done by Mother Nature and not an American Indian.

Don't get discouraged though. You are ina good area to find artifacts so keep your eyes to the ground and you will eventually find some.

He is right.. he is also one of the best you could ask for to help you out. Your in a good area.. spend some time soaking in some of what you see in this forum and get to know what to look for as evidence of tool making and use wear..ect..it won't take you long and you will find some real artifacts. Once you do and actually hold them up close you will really see the difference...and with time get better and better at seeing and most importantly understanding what to look for and why. GOOD LUCK

If your intentions are finding stones simply for what Mother Nature intended them to be... you should be in the geological form.. there is a sub forum in there called rocks and gems... in that last pile on the table it looks like you have a few matate/Mortors... and maybe even a Celt..and the spheres are interesting.. but nobody is going to be able to tell you unless you have good pictures of the individual object from different angles.

here are a few pictures to give you somewhat of an idea to look for when lookng at stone/rock artifacts, you need to be able to identify how it got that shape and why, with man made intentions. Most if not all axes and celts were hafted, by hafting they had leverage with the swing, not made to fit the hand. We dont have hardly any hardstone down here in Fl but as for lithic toolslook for edgework that show man made manufacture, arrowheads are pretty much common sense when you see one laying out there , these are all the pictures I had handy to show you

Sorry nappy, but once again all I see are natural stones. There may be a couple of Hammerstones in that mix if you look close for battered ends, but from what I see in the pictures none of those artifacts, Don't give up though. I see a lot of what looks like big chunks of flint so it's possible you may be close to or on a quarry.
