The south west is full of old mines, many of them Spanish.I've mound at least a dozen old Arrastra's, in different spots here in Arizona.It is when I find Yard Art and have no way to get it home that upsets me.

I found one of my pictures, if nobody has seen an Arrastra

If I was so lucky to find this Arrastra on public / unowned land I'd be using my vacuum cleaner to clean it out of any fine powder gold /silver that was left behind !

An arrastra being present doesn’t prove it was a Spanish mine.
