Spent good blocks of time at two houses in the same block just down the street today, with good results. I pulled two silver dimes from each, along with several wheats and clad. Between the two, there was about $2.00 in face value. You know it's a good site when the Mercs outnumber the Roseys! Now I'm looking for a site where the Barbers outnumber the Mercs. Oh wait, I had one of those a few weeks ago; never mind. Among the wheats were a 16, 18 and 29, with six newer common dates. I'm not sure if the picture does it justice, but the 42 Merc is immaculate; it was about 6 inches down and gave the prettiest tone I've heard. It was soft, but solid, if I can explain it that way. Among other relics were a sterling ring, smashed, a peace ring, two toy cars and a teaspoon.
