And people wonder why we spend so much on machines for the pennies we retrieve

i put this in the Beach and Shallow Water thread because that's where I found beauty.

Over this past week I went out 3 days straight, with two of them dirt digging and one dip into the water yesterday. Over all I retrieved $6.86 in clad. Used the CTX on land, and then the Excal fresh water. I found a couple cheap jewerly (kinda) items.

We were tired of the targets being in rock crevices and ten scoops to finally retrieve them. We decided to give it up and I swung a couple more times and hit a signal. Retrieved this one in the first scoop - last scoop of the day.

It is stamped 925

We do this though sometimes it's difficult work, and pennies just are a little better than a disappointment.

And sometimes we find something that delights us :)

Congratulations on the awesome find!

Yes, it's a ring.

And the gal who lost it had large fingers! But, it's light at 4.1 grams.

I make a plea to all those swimmers out there, don't worry about taking your rings off. We'll find them.

I agree! I call all beaches my private banks. I enjoy people that leave any deposit in them I can take out. Nice ring

I don't mind the pennies others leave on my beaches. Those pennies contributed to the purchase of 20 ounces of Silver Bars from last years finds...

Very nice find! Congrats
