I would love to know where the writer got the "perfectly legal to go there" part. A year ago, the place was littered with yellow POSTED signs, therefore I'd say it is not "legal to just go there". I'd get formal permission before following a lead on some dude's website, but that's just me!

Or maybe the "posted" signs are BECAUSE of the writer trespassing! Not good.
