Annapolis Pin?

Hi there -

Was walking around my campus and just found this laying on the ground. I have no clue what it is. Although it is hard to see in the pictures, the front side spells out Annapolis in very worn black letters, not the lines below. Any ideas? Thanks!

My guess it that it's a souvenir from an Annapolis crab house. I believe that shape is suppose to be a crab shell.

Definite crab shape. Just like the Masonic lodge pin symbol for Annapolis.
