Man, I wish I had more time. Spent about 4 hours at my hot spot again today, and pulled in a nice 1939 Mercury, two more wheat cents, and I was OH SO CLOSE on a gold band. The band turned out to be gold plated, but in the hole? It was G.O.L.D. looking up at me.
Also pulled up two more Cub/Boy Scout neckerchief slides. Without looking, that makes at least 8 I've pulled up from this property. The local Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts used to help clean up after carnivals, fairs and fireworks the day after, then camp out overnight. I was one of them, and tented as a cub scout numerous times.

Really digging EVERYTHING, as I don't want to chance missing something that's being masked here. There has GOT to be GOLD in the ground here, after all these silver targets I m pulling.

My friend also pulled up a 1945 Silver war time Nickel, and a 1964 Silver Roosevelt dime.

Here are my total Silver running count photo since June 13th. :wav:

Great finds! Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice finds! Our first ring came out of the ground just gorgeous and we saw 14k. After our happy dance I noticed the GF initials. Gold filled. Sure looked nice! Hopefully your next one will be the real deal!!

Congratulations on a good day at a great spot. You are really cleaning up, just a little differently than you did as a scout. One correction, the scout things you found are neckerchief slides. A bolo tie is a cord with medallion on it and the cord goes through 2 small loops on the back. Now get back out there, stay safe and keep swingin for more silver and maybe some sold gold this time.

That silver really pops in an awesome way amongst the finds in your picture! Congratulations on another successful outing.
