Finished my 10th bag, had 2 gems. My 10th 100 yo cent since I started, a beautifully worn 1918s (love how smooth this one is)

And upon closer inspection, did find my first 2000 wide AM

Best of luck hunting to everyone else!

The stories that coin could tell. Congrats on the WAM. They are getting harder to find.

Thanks, and I know, thats part of why I've become so into this. I've found 10 coins over 100 years old now, and just to think of the series of events that led to them being minted, where they've been, who's had them, what they were spent on, all to end up in a random bank in northern WI and then in my hands... Pretty cool to think of. Especially one like that, thats so worn. I was fortunate enough to pull an 1888 indian head thats not nearly as worn, although its 24 years older... I've pulled 2016s more worn too, which I find astounding.

Nice old copper find! :occasion14:

Wouldn't it be something, if they can pull a DNA or fingerprints from an old coin. Who touched it etc.
