Went out to the same site as I found the button last week. Spent three blissful hours there. It's so nice and peaceful and I hated to see dark arrive. Anyhow, I found another couple of buttons one had 13 stars and is the size of a dime, an Indian/Buffalo nickel..can't read the date...it was under a pine tree and the acid did a number on it :-\ and a 44 wheat, a key that has Hilgren LosAngeles on it, and a bullet, a couple of buckles, a neat little face plate off something...looks like a hole in it for a key to fit in...shotgun shells and a bunch of other stuff.

Nana :)

No! You didn't, ERIC! 8) You better find something AWESOME at the hunt, ya know! ;D And I don't know about the buckle. ???

Hey RR....that might be a step up from Bullet Queen. ;D

Bama is just awesome right now, Bird. The weather couldn't get much better! Come on back home, and let's go huntin! :)

Thank you Marty! :)

Went back out today, stayed a few hours and found a couple of keepers. First one was the required Tax token. Ya know if you hunt older houses in Alabama, you are required to find at least one tax token. ;) Then I found a dog tag dated 1961...thought that was neat. And this is all the regular change that I have found here so far. The owner of the place, who is just a sweeheart, says that there have been three owners that he knows of that lived here, and "You ain't gonna find much here", "They were all tighter than bark on a tree!" he said. ;D He's right! Not many coins to be found here. :D The rest was junque and shotgun shells. Got a few pictures....anybody know the name of the fruit in the pic? ;D They are ready to pick. ;)

Thanks again ya'll!

Nana :)
