hmmm... hard to tell from the pics but it sure looks like a four groove... nice work.

I have no idea though... I hope you figure it out.

I will take better pics later today. I searched everywhere on line and only found one that looks like it, the four groove. I found another site doing a search on jacobs rifles that said very few have ever been found.
